As the extended deck area was having a spa pool installed, we added extra support. Also access for installing the spa was needed so we re-modelled the fence to have a removable section to allow the spa to pass through.
This side patio area didn’t suit our client’s needs. Due to having young children and elderly grandparents, they wanted level access from the house to a deck and no pebbles to get flicked around untidily.
The initial brief was to install a floor level deck ¾ of the way along this back yard area. The client was so happy with the deck that he requested we extend it to the fence, leaving the cabbage tree in place.
